Outdoor Projection All-in-One — Installation & Care Guide
Site selection, mounting, weatherproofing checks and the periodic care routine that keeps an IP65 outdoor projection unit running for years.
Site Selection
- Confirm the projection distance and surface with a coverage drawing before ordering hardware
- Prefer mounting positions with natural shelter (eaves, niches) even though the housing is IP65
- Avoid pointing the lens toward traffic roads or reflective glass
Mounting & Power
- Use the engineered bracket supplied with the unit; verify wind-load suitability for open façades
- Provide a dedicated power feed with surge protection
- Route cables with drip loops so water never travels along the cable into connectors
Periodic Care
- Monthly: inspect the lens window and clean with a soft damp cloth if needed
- Quarterly: check seals, drainage holes and bracket torque
- Seasonally: verify remote monitoring reports (temperature, status) show normal values
Remote Management
Use the built-in management system for scheduled on/off, status polling and alerts — this is the primary maintenance tool and removes the need for routine physical checks. See also the troubleshooting checklist for shared issues.
