Multi-Unit Fusion Setup Guide

How to connect and calibrate multiple interactive projector units into one large seamless interactive area using a network switch.

What You Need

  • 2+ identical fusion-capable units (same model recommended)
  • A gigabit network switch with enough ports
  • Network cables from each unit to the switch

Step by Step

  1. Mount and power all units, aiming at adjacent areas of the floor/wall with ~20–30% image overlap between neighbors
  2. Connect every unit to the switch; the units discover each other automatically on the fusion network
  3. In the fusion menu, designate the canvas size (width × height in pixels) for the combined area
  4. Run auto calibration: each unit projects a test pattern and the system computes overlap blending and geometry
  5. Fine-tune if needed: adjust blend width at each seam, and use grid correction for angled surfaces
  6. Assign the interaction zones so sensor areas tile the combined canvas without gaps

Verification

Walk the whole area: effects should continue seamlessly across seams and react everywhere. If a seam shows a bright or dark band, re-run blending calibration for that pair.

Tips

  • Keep all units at the same firmware version before calibrating
  • After physically moving any unit, re-run calibration for it
  • Content should be produced at the combined canvas resolution from the start
